Potatoes – 4-5 largeArrowroot – 1-2 teaspoonsSplit Bengal Gram – 50 gramsGreen Chilies – A small amountFresh Coriander – A small amountSalt – To tasteTurmeric – To tasteOil – For frying
Step - 1
Boil and peel the potatoes, then grate them.
Step - 2
Next, mix in the arrowroot and mash the mixture thoroughly.
Step - 3
Then, boil the split Bengal gram (Chana Dal) and mix in all the spices. Take a portion of the potato mixture, form it into a small disc, stuff the spiced dal into the center, and shape it into a patty (tikki).
Step - 4
Finally, fry it on a griddle (tava) or in a deep pan (kadai).
